Why am I Broke? is an offline-first budgeting app developed by Midnight Roach Media. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information when you use the Why am I Broke? mobile application.
We do not collect any personal or financial information. Why am I Broke? stores all data locally on your device using an embedded SQLite database. No data is sent to our servers, cloud services, or third parties.
All income entries, expense entries, categories, goals, and contributions are stored only on your device. The app does not require an internet connection to function.
Why am I Broke? does not use analytics, advertising, tracking, or crash reporting services. We do not integrate with Firebase, Google Analytics, social media SDKs, or any other third-party data collection tools.
The app may offer an optional export feature that allows you to save your data locally on your device. This export file remains under your control and is never transmitted automatically.
You can delete all locally stored data at any time from the app by going to Settings → Clear All Data. This action permanently removes all financial records from your device.
Why am I Broke? is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
